FAQ

How does mobile grooming work?

I will come directly to your house at your appointment time.

Do you need to use my electricity or hose?

No. The mobile unit is fully equipped to use electricity and water on its own.

Will my pet be bathed in cold water?

No. The mobile unit has all the utilities within it, including hot water.

Do you have a weight limit for dogs?

I do not have a weight limit for dogs. However, if a very large or older pet cannot stand or needs help going up steps, I may not be the best groomer for them. They most likely will need a salon or mobile with more than 1 person to assist. Please let me know ahead of time if the pet has trouble standing or needs assistance with steps so I can best accommodate the pets needs.

How often do you recommend grooming for my dog?

The amount of time in between grooming appointments depends on the type of breed along with the size and lifestyle. I recommend all dogs to be groomed every 4-8 weeks at the minimum.

Why is mobile grooming more expensive than a shop?

Mobile grooming is a luxury service. I come straight to your door, and within 1-2 hours your pet is groomed without you leaving the house. The extra costs of fuel, wear and tear on my vehicle, and driving time all add up. With mobile grooming, your pet remains 1 on 1 with a stylist. Your pet is worked straight though, which is less stress for those anxious pets (and pet parents).

Do you use tranquilizers?

Absolutely not! I do take dogs that get veterinary prescribed medication for grooming, however for my own safety I may refer them out if they're too challenging.

Can I stay and watch?

The mobile unit is very small, and pets get very distracted when their owner is around, making it difficult to use scissors safely around them. For the safety of the pets and myself I do not allow owners to be around when grooming.

My schedule is very busy and I don't always have time to schedule an appointment. How can you accommodate me?

The first few visits I need someone home to speak with about the details of the grooming, health concerns, and getting to know you and your pet. After the first few visits, if you are comfortable and pleased with the service we can arrange appointments where your presence is not required.

What form of payment do you take?

Cash, credit card

How do I schedule an appointment?

The easiest way is to fill out the form here so I can gather your information, and I will contact you with appointment times.
